Chicken Orzo

What you’ll need:

2 large chicken breasts
1.5 cups orzo
3 cups chicken stock
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 white onion diced
3 tbsp grated parm
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic
1/2 - 1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup heavy cream
Salt
Pepper

How to make Chicken Orzo:

  1. Place chicken in bowl and add olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Mix until the chicken is well coated and place in air fryer for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 until internal temp is 165 degrees

  2. While the chicken is cooking add a little olive oil to pan and add in diced onion with salt and pepper- cook on medium 6  to 8 minutes until onion is softened

  3. Next add in garlic, cook for 3-4 minutes before adding in orzo and chicken stock.  Allow to simmer for 15 minutes stirring to keep it from sticking

(if it’s dry add a little water to pasta)

  4. When orzo is cooked add in heavy cream and parm

  5. When chicken cooks enough cut into cubes and add into the pan

Serve with garlic bread and salad!

Enjoy!
