Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast

What you’ll need: 

1 white onion 
2.5 lb chuck roast 
1 Ranch packet 
1 Dry Au Jus packet 
8 pepperoncini peppers with juice 
1 stick of butter 
salt + pepper 
Montreal seasoning 
Potatoes

optional add on - carrots

How to make Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast:

  1. Chop white onion and layer the bottom of slow cooker and place chuck roast on top 

  2. Surround with potatoes and add in carrots, if desired

  3. Place pepperoncinis around the edge of roast between potatoes 

  4. Chop one stick of butter and place in slow cooker 

  5. Add in ranch packet and Au jus packet 

  6. Sprinkle roast with salt, pepper and Montreal seasoning

  7. Cook on low 4-6 hours until roast easily shreds 

    Serve with croissants.
